Does any hand I beat bet here?
Villain is running 38/0/2 over 40 hands
$0.1/$0.25 No Limit Holdem 6 players Converted at weaktight.com Stacks: UTG (<font color="#0000cc">$16.30</font>) Hero (<font color="#0000cc">$32.90</font>) CO (<font color="#0000cc">$58.75</font>) BTN (<font color="#0000cc">$16.20</font>) SB (<font color="#0000cc">$14.40</font>) BB (<font color="#0000cc">$13.25</font>) Pre-flop: ($0.35, 6 players) Hero is UTG+1 Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG calls $0.25, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $1.25</font>, <font color="#777777">4 folds</font>, UTG calls $1 Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($2.85, 2 players) UTG checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $2</font>, UTG calls $2 Turn: J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($6.85, 2 players) UTG checks, Hero checks River: A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($6.85, 2 players) <font color="#cc0000">UTG bets $3</font> I imagine that calling on the flop he has to have a K, pockets, or hearts. Once we get to the river, the only thing that I can call against is a broken flush draw, or maybe a weaker ace, right? Is this a fold? Can I really put him on the ace? |

Re: Does any hand I beat bet here?
Yes. You beat... Almost everything. And you are getting 3:1. The question is not whether you should, but whether you should raise. If he had more money, I would raise, because he couldn't push without a real hand. But since he is so short, I just call.

Re: Does any hand I beat bet here?
AhXh bets here also I am sure. I would call here 100% of the time and if he has a king so be it. Getting 3:1 here is an easy call with aces up and best kicker.

Re: Does any hand I beat bet here?
Raising is much better than folding, imo. You have the only Ace that doesn't split and he easily peels the flop with A high. Anyway, folding is gross.

Re: Does any hand I beat bet here?
To me, this seems like an easy call. Someone who plays 38/0 doesn't strike me as a player who knows a lot about what type of hands should and should not be value bet here, so I think you're winning a big percentage of the time here. You only face a moderate sized bet on the river, go ahead and call.
