Default Vegas - low limit craps

going to vegas tomorrow for my friends 21st and looking to play low limit craps with 2$-5$ bets (i have a 500$ roll)

will also be going with a few friends who have never played before and just want to have fun and drink. i know that circus circus spreads 2$ craps but isnt CC a run down POS?

thanks for your help,

kyle

EDIT : is there any way to get comps when playing at such action? if the table is hot i will be def. increasing bet sizes and paying .6% house edge only

Last time I was at the Sahara (which was, I think, 4 years ago) they had $2 limit with 5x odds.

I believe CC was $5 limit, 3x/4x/5x. Based on my last trip last year, you will have a hard time even finding a $5 game at the nicer Strip places on a weekend...maybe downtown?

Casino Royale FTW. It's also a run down P.O.S. but whenever you're feeling like white trash just hop next door to the Venetian and chill there for a bit.

$3 mins. 20x odds. $5 mins 100x odds.

Jokers Wild and Eldorado in Henderson. $1 min pass with 10x odds. They use .25 chips for exact pays and mind you, there will be people betting 1.50 on the 6 and 8, 1.25 on the rest of the places.

Boulder Station occasionaly has a $2min game with 10x odds. Usually one or two $3 min games will be found there.

Casino Royale you'll be hard pressed to find that $2 table they used to be famous for. On dead times, its $3 normally, when it's busy, both games are usually $5.

Yes Casino Royale's 100x table is open until about 4 a.m. I believe people were betting $1 on the pass line.

Any casino spreading any table games under $5 is going to be a run-down POS. I believe other posters are right that Casino Royale will suit your needs. Lower-tier strip properties are likely to have $5 craps, especially at off times. Mid- and upper tier resorts will rarely have any craps under $10.

Nowhere is going to give you meaningful comps for this action-- as you point out, the bets are small and the house edge is low, so why would they?

craps rating for comps is usually on your pass line bet only. $5 mins, you'll be lucky to get $1 an hour back, and that could only be on a discretionary basis (no points on your card, have to beg pitboss or host).

Not entirely correct. If you're playing pass only with odds, then yes, they rate you for the bets the house has an edge on, which is the line. If you're betting comes/places, then you will get rated for these as well.
