I actually think it's legitamate concern....
Personally I keep my passwords written down and locked up with my usernames on each site. Then if I die my family knows all the info is there (aka safe deposit box), and that they can contact 1 of 2 of my poker playing buddies and they'll help get the money out for my family. With the money I have online my fiance could live for years without having to work...I would feel terrible if the sites kept the money.

I actually think it's legitamate concern.... [/ QUOTE ] Truth. My immediate family have my passwords, and know how to access my funds in the event... Maybe morbid, but still a reasonable precaution IMO. I'd hate for a poker site to benefit at my kid's expense.

This is a legitimate question - and why was this moved to "Theory?"
Leave your passwords in a will with your lawyer - or leave your passwords (and instructions) in a safe deposit box. If you have a gf and die without a will, she is out of luck. Perhaps you could have a joint checking account where you also have your gaming sites hooked-up to, then if died, she could still get the cash sent to that account. I told my wife to go online and cash me out of all my sites if something were to happen to me.
I imagine the sites make millions a year with this happening.

If it's enough money that you would want someone to have it, it's smart to have a plan. With Neteller I used to cash out at the end of every session (poker sites hated me I'm sure) and my gf could just transfer the money from my neteller to her neteller.
Now I need a new plan, but I don't have a will yet.

Don't put it in your will. keep the government out of your business. Let a loved one know how to withdrawal. Its not morbid or crazy to talk about. 100% of people on this forum will die, so be ready for it.

This is something a lot of us has had thoughts about. Especially those of us with kids. And I havenīt found the perfect solution as I keep registering for new places all the time. New ideas are most welcome. Please move this one back in the zoo where it belongs.
