BBV how much have you spent this year?

A lot more than I intended to.

I was just thinking about this the other day, I've spent a huge amount this year without really trying: about $70k since December of last year.

I have made a lot of semi-major purchases this year though (engagement ring, 50" plasma, several nice vacations, a ton of things for the house, etc). Just boggles my mind that I've spent that much this year. If I had gotten a regular job after college using my computer science degree, I wouldn't even be making that much before taxes, let alone being able to spend even close to that much in a year.
