Dude, if you can get to Raleigh, Southwest has a great non-stop flight straight to Vegas for only $148 round trip. 5 actual hours, about 2 hours accounting for the time change, might very well be worth the drive from Wilmington. Get a cheap-ish room at a strip casino with a poker rate such as Excalibur and you are good to go. I checked southwest.com and that is the price Dec 6-9.
