Meh. My own assessment of Meyer:

Recruiter: very good
Game strategy and tactics (x's and o's): good
Game management: fair to below average
Player management: horrible

My biggest beef with Meyer is the way he has allowed Tebow to be abused. Especially with all that talent you can hand the ball to.

[/ QUOTE ]

But can't you say after watching todays game that if he can't run than the offense is a lot less effective?

[/ QUOTE ]

errrr, what?

We can run just fine. Brandom James and Harvin can pick up ~5+ yards pretty much each time they get a run.

The problem today was the playcalling, the o-line, the d-line, and the secondary.

This seems about right. However he doesn't do x's and o's.

That is Dan Mullen.

So 'Good' for Mullen.

Its his "system" though, he might not call the plays but its his philosophy and his system. You can't give the credit to the ocoord when things go right, and the blame to Meyer when things go wrong.

The point was that Tebow not being able to run effectively because of his injury shows the importance of Tebow running in the offense.

You might have ran the ball fine, but the offense wasn't as scary without Tebow being as big of a threat on the ground.

Totally agree.

One too many "Tebow lefts" has created this situation for UF imp.
