Just as an aside, imo college sports allow you a one-time transfer of loyalty from your childhood rooting interest to your alma mater. (ie if you grow up in Pittsburgh rooting for Pitt and then go to Penn State, you may transfer loyalties to Penn state). There are very few other times when a transfer of loyalty is allowed. Agreed? NFL: New Orleans Saints MLB: Atlanta Braves NBA: Dallas Mavericks NCAA: LSU NFL and MLB haven't changed since I was born. I didn't care about the NBA until recently.

NFL - Green Bay Packers
MLB - Milwaukee Brewers NBA - Milwaukee Bucks NHL - none, really (Atlanta Thrashers, I guess, since they formed since I've been living in Atlanta) NCAA - Virginia first, then Marquette (home town + family ties) and Minnesota (brother)

NFL-49ers (Huge Rice fan)
NBA-Kings (Huge Cwebb fan) MLB-Braves (Lived in ATL) Hockey-Devils (Lived in Jersey) NCAAB-UNC (Jordan fan, hate Duke) NCAAFB-Michigan (Hate tOSU) Guess I liked some front runners at some point. Still like the teams now even though all but UNC pretty much suck. Went to an Ivy League school, can't really like their major sports programs.

NFL - NY Giants
MLB - NY Yankees NCAA FB - JMU Dukes (I-AA team). Don't really pull for any I-A contenders. I like to root for PSU, Boise and Auburn, though. NCAA BB - I don't really pull for anyone specifically, except JMU and they never contend, but I like to root for UNC and Georgetown.
