any good online basic finance resources?

i'm taking my first finance class and i absolutely hate the book, it might as well be written in mandarin. do any of you know of a online resource that i can use in addition to lecture notes? i'm looking for something with sample problems, formulas, and the like. i'd really appreciate it.
