Default AK 10nl turn donk

Villain is 23/8/2.4 after 150 hands which are all mined. Still my first orbit at the table.

Full Tilt Poker, $0.05/$0.10 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

BTN: $12
SB: $10
Hero (BB): $10.20
UTG: $6.20
CO: $4.70

Pre-Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BB)
Hero raises to $0.40, UTG calls $0.40, CO calls $0.40, BTN calls $0.35, SB folds

Flop: ($1.70) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 Players)
BTN checks, Hero bets $1.40, 2 folds, BTN calls $1.40

Turn: ($4.50) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BTN bets $2.20, Hero ?

Is this a tough situation at all?

Fold because he's not bluffing very often and you have no redraw plus will have to call another street.

Yea I think it's tough. Flush draws and AQ just overtook you, which is presumably a lot of his range, and there aren't really any hands that a reasonable player could be bluffing with. But your turn check is quite weak, you don't know that he wouldn't bet a weaker ace, and you're getting good odds.

Vix's reasoning is good but I don't think a call and check/eval river is too bad either.

Well that pushes me more towards a fold, but I don't think a call is awful.

No reads this is interesting even though we are pracitcally beat every time. But it seems like the only hand that could make sense here is 2pair/set that was slowplayed on the flop and he is trying to take down the pot right now. Or he has a low flush (34hh or 45hh) that he is trying to protect. Obviously raising all-in here is not the normal play but is anybody considering it??? villain seems pretty tight.

Four people went to flop and flush draw got there on turn in which villain bet into. You are drawing dead >50% of the time IMO.

Yeah I'm sure we're drawing pretty close to if not dead here. I think alot of tight players at NL10 still love to play SC's and PPs, Axs and AT+ in multiway, raised pots.

On second note, I would need a read on villain like "able to make strong laydowns", in order to shove. For these types of players and with about 80BBs, calling a push with anything less than a flush is difficult. And sometimes you might get a low flush to fold here. However, most of the time I just go with the standard play and fold because pushing all-in here is too much variance for me and seems like it is unprofitable in the long run. Frustration calls are also another thing you have to be worried about. Without read it is fold.

Just a quick question: Am I completely missing the point of what MSNL is all about with this kind of thinking?
