anyone having issues going to class this semester? last year i was at like every single class, was studying a lot, got a 3.3, so i did pretty well.

but this semester i can't do [censored]! i go to like 1/5th of my classes, and granted it's only been like.. 3 weeks since class started, not even. but lol, someone teach me how to go to class.

$$$ on FTP for a proven scientific theory that will get me from point A (bed) to point B (class) by variable C (on time).

here is my stragety:

Wake up, drink coffee and eat bagel while watching Special EDD deliver the daily news to everyone. Feel dumb for watching EDD and then go to class to make up for it. Get back and play poker instead of doing homework to make up for the time lost going to class...that is a solid theory but it only works if you dont have homework or tests for the first 2 months ldo

Brag: In my first year at uni I barely went to class at all probably hit up 2 lectures a week. I only went to psych (because it was filled with smoking martins. Anyways by the end of first year I had passed 7/8 of my units from my 2 semesters and was pretty fkn stoked.

Beat: Come 2nd year and a ladsy summer holidays that involved beating the local cas for a living, partying and hittting the beach daily. I found it almost impossible to rise before the crack of noon, thus making it hard to attend any of my classes. Rather than worry about this and get my shhit together like a level headed individual, I chose to find more time to party, play cards, hit the beach, catch movies and play pool etc. When exam time rolled around I figured I'd just cram and nail some sweet results again. But as a result of having too many goodtimes and only attending uni to visit the tav or to attend a function I found myself drowning in work, and realised it wasn't possible for me to catch up on all my work and needing to get >70% in some of my exams just to pass the unit as a result of half-assed/missed/late assignments. I proceeded to pass 4/8 units for my 2nd year failing the same unit as I failed in 1st year in both 1st and 2nd semester of 2nd year (1st time 40% 2nd time 7% 3rd time 49%). As a result of my fantastic 2nd year I was kicked out of uni for a year and will be returning to my studies in 2008. In this year off I have been working, and still finding plenty of time for cards and other stuff. A couple of my mates are in similar positions and we are all looking forward to going back to uni and trying a new approach: attending.

TLDR:
-1st year didn't attend still killed it.
-2nd year went for repeat performance, no dice.
-3rd year yet to occur ETA 2008.
-go to uni, beats work

GO TO CLASS MAN DON'T JOIN ME ON THE BENCH.

Do as i say not as I do.

Or just cram harder than i did, and live the dream.
