I can't do the speed strumming like on the intro to Holiday in Cambodia on expert

any suggestions for getting strum speed up(I really wish I just stuck with lefty back on GH2)

[/ QUOTE ]
Hold the strum bar with your thumb and index finger. Try to strum with your wrist and not your arm.

What is with all the strum, HO, strum, HO,strum, HO crap? Theyve decided to repeatedly place single strum notes in the middle of a series of HO or POs which aggravates the hell out of me.

Im pretty much a noob at GH as my previous posts show, so I'm glad you said this. I've gotten pretty decent with HO/POs but when they throw random strums in it really [censored] me up.

yea if Im playing on expert and some noob comes in on medium and hits TTFAF I flood the mic with expletives and insults. Playing against someone 2 levels below you is unbearable...provided it's not Christopher Reeves' corpse playing it's pretty much impossible to get them to fail. Even when you get death drain on them in sudden death they probably have two more opportunities to get one and use it on you, and win because it takes so long for it to kill em.

Brag: I actually beat someone who chose Easy on TTFAF when I chose expert. Probably a 5:1 shot against it even if you can tap the intro, since a double notes, broken string, whammy, and likely lefty flip and amp overload will end you. Luckily for me he got a powerup steal, and I got a difficulty up. From there it was cake, just store up three and launch them successively while grabbing a 4th and launching it, all during the solo. A bad player on easy can't deal with difficulty up, double notes, lefty flip, and another double notes all back to back.

I also busted up someone's 60+ streak on pro face-off expert last night, or so said my opponent. He was hoarding My Name is Jonas FC's but his SP path was slightly sub-optimal. I scored a 362,050 (208 points from the likely mathematical optimal) and beat him by a couple thousand (his last activation was too early).

I'm finding it's more fun to bust up other people's streaks by joining into 1-game pro face-off expert matches than to try to maintain a streak of my own (getting my own 62 win streak broken was depressing).
