After some more thought I actually think bet fold is OK, even if we give him a tight preflop calling range of JJ+, AK.

Assuming he folds JJ (6 possibles) and AK (9 possibes) to our bet (Do people call 3bets preflop with JJ and fold low flops?) and felts QQ (6 possibles), KK(3 possibles) and AA (3 possibles). We are folding more than half his hands with a bet. If he felts JJ, it seems check folding may be better.

Are these calling and felting ranges totally unreasonable?

I 3bet less preflop, and I c/f the flop. In my opinion, if he is donkish enough to call preflop with TT/JJ (lacking set odds + likely dominated), then he is willing to get it AI on a flop like this.

Yeah, he is obviously dominated in this spot.

yeah agreed
if he's calling with TT / JJ he's pushing this flop almost every time, which i'd say is logically sound.
