i think both are bad. first one the risk/reward ratio is too high and on the 2nd hand you just spew, the 13/4 player probably doesnt play many worse aces like that and if you check the turn and he bets again you can probably fold.

I dont like shoving AJ into 11/7 limpers with such risk/award ratio. You got time, check it.

Second well.. hes tight utg limper.. if you think hes empty might call flop , but you'd have to check/fold turn river. he wont bet it wo better ace in most cases. might aswell fold flop and wait a better spot.

A8s I check/fold flop vs a tight utg limper.

The first one i really d ont like vs a tighty, especialy not relatively early in the tourney. AQ and 77 would be my range here I think.

Hand 2 is a flop check/fold, and as played you are only giving money away to better hands on the turn. I doubt hes limping A3/5/6/7 enough here to make a shove worth it

How big a sample for hand 1?
I probably shove.
Hand 2 call flop.
Check turn.
I don't mind shoving preflop.
