always agreed with hour being too long. Its never a good sign when a show starts blatently fanwanking btw.. Decent episode though. Seemed like they were trying a little too hard for S2 jim/pam but whatever. Liked pam's old hair better tbh..

"I'm not superstitious... but I'm a little stitious."

and Dwight's line in the confrence room about the cat not providing "wool or milk or meat" got my biggest LOL.

i liked the episode, wasn't phenom, but is a good one to get the ball rolling on the new season.

It isn't always (The Job is amazing, for example), but this time I agree. There wasn't enough material.

Decent episode though.

Yeah, but not great. I'll have to watch it again more closely, but something about the tone was off to me. Could just be a hiccup, but if that's precedent for season four, that ain't good.

Disagree. Pam's never looked better. And I might start playing the circuit again just to try to become famous enough to have a chance with (newly single!) Jenna Fischer.

I felt the same way. Also agree about the material for this episode just not being there, a lot of stuff seemed overly forced(particularly Michael naming animal combinations and Jim and Pam keeping their relationship a secret for all of 12 minutes).

That being said, I won't post any spoilers, but based on the episode summaries I've read for the next 3 hour-longs, I'm optomistic there will be some better material to be had in coming weeks.

I dunno, ABC draaaged, the job was great of course but they covered so much ground. The negotiation dragged just as a supersized episode.

Supporting characters were great this episode which is kind of a change to be honest. Definitely agree about the tone seeming off in some parts but I'll watch it again later and see if I feel that again.

Disagree about the Negotiation. I kinda see your point about ABC but I think there was still too much for a strict half-hour. Also Women's Appreciation is a great supersized episode. Hmm, upon further review, you're right; a lot of the ones I was thinking of were just 40-minute episodes, not an hour.

Yeah, that was a good sign. I need to watch it again, too.

Good episode, not the best, but better than I expected to be honest. The way they dealt with/revealed the truth of the Jim/Pam situation was pretty cool imo.

Agree that this episode was good but would have been better edited down to 30 mins.
