Re: I hate being checkraised
[ QUOTE ]
bet this flop every time [/ QUOTE ] pleeeeeeease explain. apparently i'm in the minority in thinking a cbet is bad, but i still don't understand what we gain from it. i just imagine that a king is never folding and decently often he will c/r some kind of draw that forces us to fold the best hand. seriously, please help me to understand this. |

Re: I hate being checkraised
I like the flop check, and I call turn+river. I get shown some sort of crap too often to fold here. I find that most players with a real hand will just lead the turn, whereas those that want to push you off your "weak hand/air" will try to check-raise you.

[/ QUOTE ] you flop middle pair best kicker with AQ, there are straight and flush draws on the board, why give him a free card? i dunno i cbet this when i miss it so why not bet when i hit it? just seems silly to check behind when you flop a decent hand, but bet when you miss and bet when you flop a good hand. super exploitable imo edit: my thinking was EXACTLY the same as yours until i started watching my friend play who is a winning 5/10 player, he always cbets, so i just started to always cbet. makes you a lot tougher to play against and you never have to make tough calldowns when you check the flop and have no idea where you are at |

Re: I hate being checkraised
also, think of this. I cbet 88 HU in pos. on like K 6 4, but I could see checking behind with KK on A x xr
make sense? |
