Default NL100 | Butt Ugly Turn

How much, if any? Opponent seems moderately loose & passive, and is more passive when OOP.

F that, you want money from his weaker made hands. If he has a Q he'll let you know, I'm surprised he didn't lead into you on turn if he has it and he's passive.

Against loose passiv players you want to value bet until they tell you they have you beat. This guy doesn't seem like a bluffer and you want value from KK/JJ/TT. If he check-raises you you can safely fold, but his calling range is a lot bigger than QQQ and his c/ring range is only better hands. Value bet turn and value bet blank river if checked to

bigger preflop.

I would check the turn here. It would suck for 99-JJ to fold and I don't really want to get stacked by a queen (yes we can fold to hte c/r, but it also means we are folding the best hand sometimes)

Good points, I think the most important point which I forgot about before is that he is much more likely to call a river bet with JJ/KK/TT if we check turn then if we bet it. I think I change my mind. If he has KK I still think we are losing some value because I think he'll call turn and river VB's though

easy check.

a) you're not deep
b) you can't expect to win a big pot with AA all the time (eg- one reason you're posting this is b/c you really wanted to win a big pot with AA and thus are prolly looking for reasons to bet the turn).

only time i bet this turn is against someone who is too bluffy.

no. A PSR is to $12, so I wouldn't go smaller than that, and I dont really like the idea of rerasing preflop and still giving my opponent ~ 16:1 implied

Meh. I'm not giving him 16:1 implied. I don't suck quite that bad.

I've been making this PF 3bet in a wide variety of situations lately, and it's working very well.
