I assumed it was in between the "bitch" slap and the "full force" slap which is why OP was a little unsure of his move. If this was "full force", enough to ring your head and hurt your jaw, then your friend is a stupid ass and deserves to be hit real hard. If it was more of a bitch slap and he is any kind of decent friend then I think he deserves the chance to apologize and say he screwed up. EL D...It was hard enough to make me "wtf" it but it didnt ring me or anything. Bottom line is it just looked bad and I didn't know whether the better thing to do would be return the favor or try to be mature about it and talk with him after. I took the 2nd route and we're cool now I just didn't know if I handled it right after.
