Reno trip in December. Where to play?

I'm going to be staying at the Peppermill for the weekend in Decemeber and i was wondering where the hot poker spot is. I've only been there once and from what I saw the poker rooms were small and pretty crappy. Are there any good spots?

There are no big rooms. If you are look for limit HE, then about the best you can do is 4-8 with a kill at most casinos. Peppermill has 10-20 during peak times. Everyone offers NL, albeit mostly 1-2....

Grand Sierra is having a pot of gold tourney some time in December. There will be more side action there during that time.
