If adrian peterson continues to dominate, and the vikings make the playoffs, does he get it?

The Pats are playing the best football seen in a VERY long time. If they go 16-0 like projected, NO ONE has a chance of taking it from Brady, even if MIN runs the table and AP puts up monster stats.

[/ QUOTE ]

Lets say the Pats do lose a game or two and the ADP keeps his play up and the Vikes make the playoffs. He should recieve serious consideration because he is doing more with less/doing alot with less.

[/ QUOTE ]

Good argument, but if Brady keeps up this pace, no one is going to catch him in voting, period. His end of the year numbers are going to be insane.

I can't see the MVP award going to anyone else other than Brady, unless of course he goes down with a season-ender next week.

Barring some catastrophe in the second half of the season Brady wins the MVP going away.

Moss and AP are playing at superior levels to the rest of the league at their positions but I cannot imagine circumstances under which either would win.
I'm a huge homer fan of AP- but I think that's the realistic outlook.

Top 3 for MVP as of now (IMO):

1.) Brady
2.) Peyton
3) Romo
4) Garcia
5) Favre

How can you put Garcia over Favre? The Pack are tied for the best record in the NFC, and the Bucs likely aren't going to make the playoffs.

The Bengals are 2-6. The Giants are 6-2.

Clearly, Eli Manning >>>> Carson Palmer.

Veecee,
I will bet any sum of money Bucs are a playoff team at even money.
Garcia has played one less game and has 6 less fumbles + INTs and can run. Most of Favre's value comes from the fact he throws tons of passes.
