My other WRs: Andre Johnson, Derrick Mason, Vincent Jackson, Antwaan Randle El

Why are you so weak at RB AND WR DonkeyKong?! Do you have Palmer, Gates, Vinny, and Chicago or something?

No way I would do that trade... perfect example of when NOT to sell.

Hey all, sorry for noobing up this thread but got a basic draft question for a late starting league I just joined. Standard snake draft, 12 teams, NFL.com scoring system. I'm number 9 in the draft which means I get pick 9 and pick 16. I'm thinking of getting two RB's first (standard?). My order of priority is:

1. LDT
2. Steven Jackson
3. Addai
4. Parker
5. LJ
6. Gore
7. Westbrook
8. Alexander
9. R. Johnson
10. Maroney
11. McGahee
12. T. Henry
13. J. Lewis
14. Cadillac
15. Jones-Drew
16. Thomas Jones

Sustainable? What would you do different?

Does the scoring system include points per reception ? I think the order is flawed right now, but that detail is important.

Nah, the offensive scoring system works like this:

FG - Field Goals 3 points
Plus 2 points for a FG of 50+ Yds
FL - Fumble Lost, Including ST plays -2 points
Pa2P - Passing Two-point Conversion 2 points
PaInt - Passing Interception -2 points
PaTD - Passing TD 6 points
PaYd - Passing Yards 0+ PaYds = 1 point for every 25 PaYds
Re2P - Receiving Two-point Conversion 2 points
ReTD - Receiving TD 6 points
ReYd - Receiving Yards 0+ ReYds = 1 point for every 10 ReYds
Ru2P - Rushing Two-point Conversion 2 points
RuTD - Rushing TD 6 points
RuYd - Rushing Yards 0+ RuYds = 1 point for every 10 RuYds
XP - Extra Points 1 point

I think you absolutely have to get Adrian Peterson in there, and probably Lynch also. I think the Pace injury will have a big impact on Jackson, so he's ranked too high. i think I try and remove Jones Drew and Jones from there, get Peterson and Lynch middle of the pack somewhere. I think Barber now being the concensus #1 on a high powered Dallas offense also has some serious merit to being ahead of someone like Lewis. Beyond that it's going to be fairly subjective. Oh you absolutely have to take maroney out of that list. He's just a lost man in this offense. He's sharing time in a pass first offense. I'm benching him for weeks now sadly

Thanks. All that makes a lot of sense. I was a bit concerned about Maroney for precisely the reason you're stating, but figured that with the points the pats are going to put up this season he might get some decent yardage out of it anyway. They can't pass all the time can they?

Is it me or is there a huge shift this year from RBs dominating to WR/QB combos dominating? Will this continue? Or will leagues shift back to normal?

In my main league, Carson, Romo, Brady, Delhommee are the top 4 scorers. Next is Steve Smith, Derek Anderson and then Chad. The first running back is Edgerring James and then Lamont. If this continues I can't see myself winning my league even with Gore and Marion Barber as my top 2 (have Maroney, T. Bell and Lynch on the bench) with Wayne (top WR), Boldin, as my top 2 WRS and McNabb being my QB (let's see how he does tonight).
