Re: EV of 2+2 knowing your screen name and winrate
[ QUOTE ]
Seriously, I know who is good out of the regulars, knowing someone is 2+2 won't make me think/play differently. [/ QUOTE ] QFT Although i have been known to tag people "2p2" at twoplustwo games just in case I play with them for the first time in the future. |

Re: EV of 2+2 knowing your screen name and winrate
It's pretty easy to work out quickly if someone is competent. There're some 2 + 2 posters who're obviously more than competent, but I'm not sure I put the majority of posters in that camp. So it doesn't bother me much, but I probably won't be telling anyone my ID when I change as I don't think it can help me.

Re: EV of 2+2 knowing your screen name and winrate
People paid me off for a long time because of my posts. I'd say I was/am one of the most effected by this. I'm not really sure if it is plus EV or not, I feel like I've just learned to adjust to it. Either way, I'm always going by what I see at the tables and not what I see on this site.
Also, now that everyone thinks/knows that I've tightened up a little bit, I can bluff again. |

Re: EV of 2+2 knowing your screen name and winrate
a lot of 2p2ers at 3/6, especially ones i remember from 2/4 seem to be very marginal winners(1bb/100 or less), or losers.

Re: EV of 2+2 knowing your screen name and winrate

[/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] it's not as much people knowing that i post on 2+2, but that it's specifically mak15. one of the things is that if people know my party name i am less likely to want to post my own hands on the forum as well as post my thoughts on specific situations if they differ at all from the standard. |
