Lakers swept the Nets in 01-02, so not so many years...

I wouldn't be surprised to see a sweep again.
This Pistons team is playing horribly ("pathetic" and "ridiculous" have been used a lot by the my local commentators) and their only down by 6.

That's the way every game has been. In Miami's two wins they do really well and get a big lead and then have a few retarded possessions and let the Pistons right back in it. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Heat push the lead to 14-16 again in the 3rd quarter only to have a 4-8 point lead going into the 4th quarter...

It also happened in game 2, the Heat worked hard to get back to within 6 points, then Posey and Wade jack up ill advised threes, suddenly the Piston lead got right back to 12...

That's my point, they aren't good enough (or consistent enough if you prefer an euphemism) to put up a fight against the Mavs.

Detroit has previously played poorly in the Eastern Conference playoffs before playing like a completely different team in the finals. I admit they aren't looking too great right now. I also think the Mavs would beat the Heat in no more than 6 games.

It's going to be the most one sided nba final in years.

Disagree. Call me a homer, but people expected the same thing in 2004. Lakers seemed so poised, and Pistons-Pacers was a 66-64 slugfest. The East just has better playoff defense, I still expect the Finals to go at least 6 games.

If the Pistons get back on track I'd put them as favourites the thing is, I've spent the last 5/6 games waiting to see their a-game back.

That's the kind of bad announcing I hate - how is it a break that Hunter was called for the foul? He fouled the guy.

With the Pistons' big guys in foul trouble every game it seems like, why couldn't they have found a good role for Darko?
