I lead the flop...

If I do not lead the flop, then leading the turn doesnt have as much bite and just asks for a call with hands like aq ak and maybe ajs which combines for a huge part of his range.

If I do in fact check flop and lead turn as you have done, the only hand you are now beating on the river is AQ/AJ, but still I kind of want to block bet even the minimum here just in case he has that.

Can someone explain why leading this flop is a good option here??!

I feel like leading this flop is just bad and so easily taken advantage of. I think raising into a PF 4bet raiser is a bit like the check/call lead turn line these days which just doesnt get any respect and is constantly raised. This is obviously fine if our hand can stand up to that kind of action but clearly ours cant here...
