guys,

make sure you check out stack sizes here

[/ QUOTE ]

heh, changes my thought process somewhat but the result is the same. im firing 15-17$ and folding to a shove, but shoving myself on the turn if flatcalled. your average idiot is scared shitless of the ace if he doesnt have it i wouldnt expect to see a shove with many non-ace hands on this flop given his stack size.

I'm saying that QQ+/AK are in his range a lot less, and he will respond to flop bets/checks a lot differently than if he had a full stack.

ie, if you bet this flop, he's a lot more likely to push with 99 or some [censored] than if he was full stacked. Also, if he DOES have KK-JJ, theres A LOT LESS FE than if he was fully stacked

are you saying villain never folds a better hand here w/ so little behind OR that we cannot fold here versus a villain with so little behind?

[/ QUOTE ]

Good question. I really hate these spots against short-but not that short-stacks.

In hindsight it looks like if you bet then you are either getting called or raised by a better hand, or folding out a worse one.

dan it sounds to me like you're saying that 99 folds never and KK folds never. so we're getting it all in here regardless. T/F?

This is dead on. That said, what is your line, Dan? Are you willing to c/f here, or are we willing to get it AI? I doubt there is a lot of in between here.

Damn, I am so slow at posting sometimes!

Edit: Dan basically posted the same thing I did while I was writing up my question!
