Default 200nl - KJ 200bb deep

Villain in this hand (DivisnByZero fwiw) is 18/13.5 with a flop AF of 1.5 and a turn AF of 2.00 over ~1.5k hands. He is a semi-reg at 200nl 6m and full ring and I don't think too highly of him (a little spewy/stationy, not very aggressive).

I was pretty sure he was on AA both pre and post flop, although he is definitely capable of lighter 3bets.

I am pretty sure this is an auto-call but I am open to other opinions on the matter. The call preflop was solely based on stack sizes, anyone still think this is spew with the likelihood of domination? Any input appreciated

Given the preflop call, you're felting here. I mean, if you call the r/r with KJ, then flop 2 pair, wtf u gonna do? If you don't want to felt there, fold pf.

The call is a little spewy, but you did it with a read, so good on ye.

Pre-flop is fine cause you're in position.

Call turn obv.

His line doesn't seem like how he'd play if he actually flopped a set, very unlikely he turned str8. I think AK, AA are pretty likely. AQc or some such draw also highly possible, esp. for someone who can get spewy.
You're good here a lot, certainly enough to call, but I wouldn't be too amazed if he's got you

Certainly a call I would say. Can't rule out AA or AK, definetly could have A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and KK or JJ are longshots since we already account for two of the K's and J's.

Whether or not that is spew PF, I don't really think so. You certainly COULD lay it down, but if you are good postflop, and you think he will pay you off if you hit big, then it's probably OK to call IMO.

I think his line says set more than any other hand. He 3 bets pre flop, representing a monster, then he checks the flop to you...on a flop that looks like it would be a good flop for him considering his 3 bet.

Does he check with AA or AK on this flop? Seems unlikely. If he's missed completely, he probably bets...a FD almost certainly bets the flop, and I think AA and AK almost always bet this flop. Why slowplay a pair on such a draw heavy board? When he checks the flop after 3 betting I immediately suspect a set. I would bet 2/3 pot on the flop.

When he flat calls the flop then does a cr all in on the turn, it's hard for me to believe he doesn't have a set. You mention he's not aggressive enough...makes me think this is not a semi-bluff cr. It's very tough to fold in this spot, but I think an argument can be made for it.

Easy call. AA/AK/straight draws/flush draws easily outnumber the sets.

As for the pre-flop call - in position, I've got no problem with it. I'm not doing it against a random, but against a low aggression known player it's a reasonable easy call. People with low aggression tend to give up easily when they have nothing, but often won't give up when they DO bet, even with marginal hands like TPTK (that's a generalisation obviously, if you have a better read on an individual go with it).

I'm kind of torn on the hand, but whatever you did was probably wrong (or whatever I'd do at the table) because this guy is pretty damn good. I'll think about this some more and try to figure out if I like call or fold.
