Default Allen Iverson

Where do you see him being moved to?? Right now the only team that I have seen that has showed public interest is the Nuggets, but im sure there are teams such as Atlanta willing to make a shot for him.

Iverson, J.R Smith, and Carmelo would lead the league in points for a trio and amount of weed smoked.

From what I wrote in the NBA Season thread:

Any thoughts or speculation? Which team could use him? Honestly its tough to say because hes such a unique player. You obviously couldn't have another big time scorer that needs the ball on the team. And I doubt any team that is currently winning would want to risk messing up their current situation since getting AI would change a team so drastically.

The only things I can really think of are maybe another star player that isn't really happy or doesn't really fit in where hes at. Pierce, Garnett, Baron Davis, etc.

The Hawks actually could use him now that I think about it. While Joe Johnson is a good scorer, I think they could co-exist. Plus they have some young talent like Marvin Williams to dangle.

Honestly I'd really love to see AI play alongside another very talented player. We all assume that he can't and that he needs the ball, but we've never really seen it.

Chicago definitely needs scorers. They need a guy who can get to the foul line and AI is just that. What about something like Thomas and Gordon for AI?

Denver is an interesting possibility, but I'm not sure if they have antying that Philly would want.

Woah....just on ESPN, they quoted AI as saying:

"I'm really hopeful right now that the deal with Minnesota thats in the works will work out. I really want to go to Minnesota. Thats where I want to be"

Who does Minnesota have though to trade for him? I suppose that if they want AI that they're playing for now and not the future, so they'd want to keep Garnett. Here is Minnesota's roster:

No. Player Pos Ht Wt DOB Exp College
30 Blount, Mark FC 7-0 250 11/30/75 6 Pittsburgh
31 Davis, Ricky GF 6-7 195 9/23/79 8 Iowa
4 Foye, Randy G 6-4 205 9/24/83 R Villanova
21 Garnett, Kevin F 6-11 220 5/19/76 11 None
41 Griffin, Eddie FC 6-10 232 5/30/82 5 Seton Hall

AI's contract is 17 mill? I say dump them all and start from scratch. LOL can you imagine a team consisting of an overpaid C-Webb and a bunch of rejects from the Wolves?

I think that Foye definitely has some potential and Hassell is a nice player to have on your team due to his defense. If I were the 76ers I would definitely want those 2, a first rounder this year, and then whatever else you need to make the salaries work.

No way. With the loss of AI they are definitely going to need some guard action. Ricky Davis springs to mind. Foye's contract isn't worth anything yet so I don't know if its worth giving him up. T-wolves should give up all their worthless guards because Philly needs help there anyway. If Philly accepts (they are getting the short end of the stick probably no matter what here because AI is desperate to get out), a good trade is Ricky Davis, Troy Hudson or Marco Jaric, and Hassell (who can come in for Iguodala off the bench maybe). How much are draft picks usually worth in trades, because this is almost equal to AI's contract?
