Create myself a range to flatcall 4bets out of position 180+BB deep and stick with it?

it depends on how out of line he is getting. you can call the 4bet with 99 if you want, though i dont really suggest it vs a 17/13. i would probably call with QQ+, AK as a default and add other hands as the situation permitted.

Sounds about right. Thanks. He wasn't out of line at all by the way. I suppose QQ+, AK sounds about right then when deep against this type.

From the little I've seen of villian he hardly ever 4-bets (in that I've not seen it once)...so I'd give him a v strong hand anyway and just get the chips in. He may fold QQ but he'd be worried about getting cold called anyway with that.

I'd 4bet ai against him with AK/AQ/JJ sometimes, but at a different table and for the standard 100BB.

If he expects you to push with this range, then pushing with AA here is going to get called pretty often. So, I said push.

In fact, just calling might be more suspicious to him than you pushing.
