Re: Glenn Beck told me to post this to Ron Paul Supporters
Hostile or not why would you turn down a chance to expand your ideas to a crowd that may have no idea who you are.
You can't lose votes you never were going to get but you CAN win votes with a few good points and ideals. |

Besides, Paul agreed to a Hannity interview, didn't he? [/ QUOTE ] Only as part of the Fox post-debate show as far as I know. He really should go and appear on both the Hannity and Beck radio show. |

You can't lose votes you never were going to get but you CAN win votes with a few good points and ideals. [/ QUOTE ] For an answer to your question, watch Lou Dobbs when he interviews a guest with whom he has opposite views. He treats the guest as hostile; controls the conversation; doesn't let the guest complete an answer; he just attacks; attacks; attacks. If you were a candidate running on a platform of amnesty for illegal immigrants, you would not want to go on the air with Dobbs for a 5 minute interview. He would show you no respect. Not that I'm for amnesty, just equality in debates with the host of the show. |

If you feel this way e-mail the campaign and suggest him going on.

Re: Glenn Beck told me to post this to Ron Paul Supporters
Here's an interesting video that sheds a little light on the Beck-Paul friction.
I think Ron Paul going on his show for a full hour would be an incredible opportunity. Glenn had a full hour with Penn Jillette a few weeks ago and it was great. Penn is, by all accounts, basically an anarchocapitalist and he was treated fairly and was asked honest, interesting questions. They even agreed on a lot of stuff. The best part was that Beck let Penn do most of the talking. |

Glennnn Beckkk is super smarmey and very sarcastic. And I did hear Back say that he thought abolishing the FBI was a dumb idea.

Re: Glenn Beck told me to post this to Ron Paul Supporters
I've watched Glenn Beck for a total of about 2 hours over the last couple years. Here's a summary of his show:
"I'm a recovering alcoholic... goddamn Mexicans..... I don't have any friends... goddamn muslims.... I'm really lonely and pathetic.... [censored] liberals.... [censored] mexicans.... did I mention I was a lonely pathetic alcy?" |

I believe Paul has been turning down Beck. I don't think it's a wise move. Whether it's fun or not, it's going to be a lot more beneficial to your campaign than your biweekly appearance on the Alex Jones show.
