Default Wasn\'t sure where this should go but...

I'm a huge bankroll nit.

Do you treat the .25 big blind rooms closer to the $25NL rooms or $50NL

Any bankroll advice for limit would be great. I've got a great setup for NL, but havn't played enough limit to know what kinda swings are standard. (i know there is no real way to know this, but right now i'm in the dark)

300 x BB is supposed to be standard for limit.

Although the higher the limit that you play at, and presumably the better the opponents 400 x BB may become more appropriate.

I think that you will probably find your question answered satisfactorily in the FAQ.

Check this out:

http://support3.com/poker/bankroll/bankroll.asp

If you can estimate your win rate and SD, you can calculate the roll you need to have an acceptably low risk of ruin. Now, if you are willing to move up and down in stakes readily, you can do with a smaller roll.

The standard rec is 300 BB. If you're a nit, 500 BB is probably fine, esp. if you're willing to move down or rebuy.

In the limit world, i'm not sure if BB is big blind or big bet.

Please explain?

When you are talking BR the BB is the bigger number of the two describing a table. It is the Big Bet, the ones that start on the turn. The big blind tends to be half of that.

So a .25/.50 table has a Big Bet of .50 and a Big Blind of .25. I may never have noticed that the SB is some weird amount of cents before or I'm wrong. Toss up really.

Personally, I like at least 700bbs for full ring, 1000bbs for 6max, but sucking increases variance, so you can attribute my being overrolled to that.

Also, I can't even read your avatar. All I see is Cartman in a pope hat, which doesn't seem that offensive. We love Raptor Christ, right?
