Heard a Football Outsiders guy on Bill Simmons' podcast - they both liked the Packers defense & said they could very well win the division...I guess I haven't paid much attention to them...I thought the Vikings could be the surprise team from there if their QB can do anything at all.

Whether or not the Pack defense is good it really was upsetting to see the first squad struggle so much. Freddy T did look awesome though. He is ready to have an awesome year, and I expect MoJo to drop off a bit, especially with Greg Jones back this year to take care of 3rd down and short yardage which MoJo thrived in last year.

The depth at O-line is great, even without Meester at center the line looked good, very smooth. My gripe is the fact that Leftwich was off. Garrard was on, and Gray is struggling. At this point I could careless who starts, just get the ball in the hands of the recievers.

BTW, Titans vs Bills tonight, I'd like to see how VY does in his half of work. Colts host the Lions. Only thing I will be interested in the Colts game, is Calvin Johnson.

OT, the Colts website is way to cluttered. I hate going on to it. Is there a fan site that is cleaner and better to read?

Super super OT, but since this is like the only active NFL thread right now, I'm pumped to see the Pats squad tonight. I don't like them, but they could be sick this year which is always kind of fun to watch.

Also, it will be interesting to see how Lendale works with the first team. He's supposed to get the start.

Yikes. VY has a pass TD and rush TD plust 13-19 162 yards. Spread the ball around and overall looked good. I've ripped him in the past as not being a true NFL qb, well tonight I keep my mouth shut. He took some shots and still threw good passes.

Holding Lynch to 9 yards on 9 carries is also pretty good.

Colts teabag the Lions tonight. Manning 233 Yards 3TDs in the 1st half. Held them to 3 points too (until a TD with :45 left).

The Colts run D played pretty well. Held the Lions to 32 yards on 14 carries.

If that run defense is a sign of what is coming in the regular season, that could be scary. Colts might be a 12+ win team if the defense can be a top 10 defense.

The lions sucking did have a lot to do with it. No Kevin Jones, then Bell got hurt early. Still, the guys wrapped people up.
