Default start fl w/ hu

hey guys,
i am a realtivly successful midstakes nl player and i maybe want to start playing fl a bit
i played it 1 1/2 year ago seriously but till then never again

i would like to start directly with headspcashgames at stakes of 5/10 - 10/20 because i heard that the rake at lower limits really sucks

i would let me coach from a successful mid-highlimit headsup fl priv. coach

do you think that this could work?

yes, if you have good instruction this will work.

I happen to believe that if you are starting poker completely from scratch that hu limit would be easiest to teach (a la bot style, or andy beal style)

andy beal style, as in andy beal learned to play hu limit from scratch, not referring to the style in which he played. Sorry for the confusion

I can tell you a decent strategy that most likely will beat dumb players atleast.

Raise around 90% from sb.

Defend with around 90% of sbs range in bb.

3-bet all hands for value OOP preflop. Cbet atleast flop and turn.

If you call preflop, C/R any flop with gutshot+ and bet to the river.

In position when C/R on the flop. Call with pretty much anything. Raise middlepair+ on the turn.

Obviously the board will make some lines better but this basic strategy will not lose a lot of money while you learn.
