Default Silly stats question - includes graph

My last 74k hands, at mostly from 400NL and 600NL...

As you can see, I dont play alot, and that tends to make my downswings appear even more brutal.

During the last 20k or so hands, Ive noticed that my % of winning session stats are only 39%, could this mean I'm on tilt, playing poorly, or just running bad? Bit of all three, or nothing at all?

Thanks!!

dude i wouldn't worry about the % of winning sessions, it means nothing, especially if you table select and quit tables after a couple orbits if they don't look juicy (like i do). Even if you don't, you have to think of ring as one big session that encompasses all of your hands played. So ya, don't worry about it.

Egh, 30 is a bit more than 15, still not all that much to worry about. Contrary to popular thought on these forums 30 buy in downswings do happen a from time to time. I'm in the midst of pulling out of my 2nd one in my last 850k hands.

What was your winning % for sessions before you last 20khands plz?

I also dont play many hands per month(im probally one of the laziest winning players)i find that my win % sessions flucuates from 55%-65% over each month it very rarly is much higher.

My sessions tend to be short sessions, where i have not found the table suited to how id like to play or simpally i feel there are too many good players at the table.

Hi!
During the 52k or so hands before my downswing I was averaging 58% winning sessions.

Thanks for all the replies, maybe this leads me to believe I am not fussy enough and need to work on my game selection. I am also working on 200NL until I get my confidence and, at least, my C-game back.

Cheers!

I would suggest that you go over your sessions more. See if you were doing anything differently before your downswing as opposed to now, and adjust accordingly.

For example, when I had a major downswing last month, I went over my hands and took a look at what I was doing differently. I noticed that I was losing a lot more medium sized pots and basically always calling an extra bet more than I usually do. I realized that I was frustrated and spewing in medium sized pots because I just didn't believe that people always "had it". I didn't even realize that I was doing this. After I figured that out, I adjusted and eventually pulled out of my swing.
