Somebody ask CrazyMarco what he had here. I think this is important.

On the phone w/Marco now. He had AJ there.

Pretty much exactly how you would play it if you could see his cards. I can't tell what they had behind. But probably POTRIPPER couldn't be sure that MARCO would fold to a flop shove.

is there one PT database anywhere that has the largest practicable record of the cheater's hands?

i know there are a few floating around with a hundred hands here and there, but is there anywhere that they've been collated together? does adanthar have anyhting?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm sure it's around, PM adanthar or check the LHE thread. The info about both LHE and NLHE cheating started in the LHE forum.

And to clarify, when I say 'unify the data' I don't mean merge all the PT data. (though that would certainly be a good thing.) I mean the process is still not being looked at correctly. (not by you Josem but, oddly enough lolz, the peoples trying to disprove cheating)

The VPIP% and the PFR% and the BB/100 stats mean absolutely nothing by themselves, even if the odds are unlikely of it occurring. It is THE MANNER IN WHICH IT HAPPENED that is the issue, which the other stats show. And again NOT BY THEMSELVES but when unified with every other stat.

Quite frankly, i'm not even sure it can be expressed mathematically seeing as there are so mean unquantifiable intangibles.

People are getting mathematically longwinded here with calculations that don't factor in EVERY PT stat. It takes an understanding of poker, not statistics, to grasp this.

Anybody that knows pokertracker well can see something isn't right with even a cursory glance at the data.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ding.

Which is why I asked: who exactly are the math/stats elements being debated for?

[/ QUOTE ]

Ok, ape you'll like the post I just made. I think it's the best i've been able to express just why the RAF is so important.

No, I do not. I tell people who think that they have had money stolen from them to report it to their local law enforcement officials.

I have not had money stolen from me, and thus, I have no crime to report.

Oh, so you know a crime was committed, yet you refuse to report it.

Okay.

I typically don't report crimes that take place 12,000km away from me, that don't involve me, and that has no connection to my local police force.

By contrast, if I knew of money being stolen here in Australia, I would report it. In addition, I still think it would be a good idea for people who did have money stolen from them to report it.
