Default \"get .net 2.0\" but i did!

Im trying to get the handgrabber for bodog (dogwatch) but it says i need .net 2.0 which i think i alread got int he past for something else. so i download dogwatch and run it and it says "you need .net 2.0" so i download it (using windows update) and try again but again it says i "need .net 2.0"

what am i missing? (i think i even tried some beta .net 3.0)

I shouldn't use Windows Update for this. Can't you check if it's installed using ControlPanel/Software?

I also should download it from the Microsoft site.

wow yeah, i didnt know it would be under add/remove programs. i have net 1.1, net 1.1 hotfix, net 2.0 and net 2.0 beta. What does this program even do? would it be safe to remove them all and download just net 2.0 again?

Yes it is safe to remove them all again. So just remove all of them, reboot your pc and download .net framework from the MS site and install again.

.net framework is there to make a link between applications and libraries written in different programming languages.
