Hands per day/Week/Month

Ive been mainly a live 1-2 NL player. My winrate is $12 per hour over the past 400 hours.
I play online as well, though not as much.
My winrate is 4.28/100 hands.
I am wondering about making the switch to mainly online and need to know what the best amount of hands/tables to play per day is without getting burnt out. At the casino, I can play 8-9 hours. Online, I tend to play 2-3 tables of full ring, but usually only for an hour or 2 before i get bored or go to the casino.
Do online players put in 8 hour days? Would that be about 1500 hands per day, 10,000 hands per week? How many per month. Thanks in advance.

8 hours 3 tabling is about 1500 hands.

And yes, many of us manage to put in that many hrs/day.

Do you break it up in segments? Would you recommend building up to that level?

Try to build up your multi-table tolerance, and you wont have to log 8 hours.

A lot of us can comfortable manange 10-12.

I usually play in 3 2-3hrs segments, if im dedicating my day to playing.

I think only you can answer this question. Gradually add tables and see how it works out for you. On average, I 3-table 3 hours a night, 6-7 days a week. I've tried less/more, but this is a good level for me since I'm balancing family, work, and poker. I also get bored with less than 3 tables and I believe my win rate drops with more tables. My current goal is 6.5 hours per day and 7000+ hands (20 tabling). However I'm generally pretty happy with anything over 5 hours. I usually take breaks every 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
