Default Cryptologic back to 30% minimum gross from November 1st

Have just received emails from InterPoker and others saying that their rates are reverting to 30% gross rake (as a minimum level) from November 1st

Email as follows

[ QUOTE ]
Hello Player,

We are pleased to announce that from 01/11/07 InterPoker will offer a guaranteed minimum of 30% Rakeback when you earn as little as 1 MPP within each month*.

Our lower level players will now benefit from a structure that is amongst the most generous on the web. Greater MPP earners will still receive the same high level of Rakeback that they did before:

New Monthly Rakeback Structure
MPP Tiers Gross %
0 - 4,999 30.0
5,000 - 7,999 31.0
8,000 - 10,999 34.8
11,000+ 38.8

• As before the percentage of Rakeback will increase dependent on the level of MPPs obtained.
• Rakeback is paid on the first working day of the calendar month as previously.

[/ QUOTE ]

However....It does add that the offer ends 31st December

Good news for all really..til Dec 31st at least

Regards

Hope this is 30% from 100% and not from 77.5% as it was before.

It would seem that not all of the rooms are approaching this the same way. I just got this from Sun:

----------
Hi Bonus Whore,

SunPoker has made a significant improvement to the rake back levels that are guaranteed to increase your bank roll starting this November 1st!

We have increased the minimum percentage you'll receive to 40%.
That's DOUBLE what it is now!

Here's a look at the new rake back scale:

Min. MPP Max. MPP Net Rakeback
0 7,999 40%
8,000 10,999 45%
11,000 and above 50%

Remember, Net Rake is the total Rake times 77.5%
----------

This is actually slightly better, since 40 * .775 = 31...they're basically just removing the bottom tier.

40% is actually net (paid) rake:

So Sun's lower level is 40% payout - 51.6% gross (as I understand it)

Are all the cryptos improving their RB or at least returnign them to previous levels?

That's not the way I read it:

"Remember, Net Rake is the total Rake times 77.5%"

IE you get 40% of 77.5%.

I hope you're right, but I don't think that's the case.

I got this from Littlewoods, with the levels stated in the OP. Not really making me want to rush back, especially with the awful traffic in games I play

Hi STW,

They didn't "change" it back, they just upped the antes a little.

They're giving you MORE rakeback in return for your play, atleast till 1st January 2008.

And noone knows what the next promotional step will be.

Hope this helps.

Best Regards

Is there a room on the crypto network where you can play in Euro or where your bankroll is kept in Euro ?

All the Cryptos have Euro (and GBP) tables where you can play in that currency, but they seem to be pretty empty most of the time...almost all the play is on the US$ tables. Oddly, there used to be a lot more players on the GBP tables before Crypto pulled out of the US.

As to having your account in Euros, I'm not sure, sorry.
