Push is okay. But whats important is to start pushing and taking more gambles before you get to such a short stack.

With your stack size you have zero fold equity. You need to start shoving a wide range from button and CO whenever you reach 3-4 BB, where you still have some FE.

2.5 big blinds

I push if I think villain will sometimes fold.

this was the result of my A9 push and got called by a KJ limper from the button who drew out. so this was the stack i was left with on the next hand in the sb. i had stolen some pots from the BB before but i think my stack was too small so he felt he had to call. i just didnt know if i should've laid this hand down and try to pick up something else with >2bb.

I dunno, you can see a couple more hands here and you have over 90% chance that you will get a hand with better showdown value than T5x, and you have very little fold equity

BB will be getting 2.7 to one and will call with any two cards.

How about this? If you are going to shove anyway, just limp. If he doesn't have anything he may just check.

Then shove any flop. If he misses the flop, and given his chip stack compared to you, button, and MP, he may fold and you will almost double your chips.

You were going to shove anyway, so what would be the difference?

Please advise.
