The official MARCH GOALS thread.

Well, another month is coming to an end and a new one begins. What do you hope to accomplish this month? Here's my goals:

1. 10Kfpps each week.
This has been a running goal for me all year. So far, so good. I'm really trying to reach 500,000fpps for the year so I can take advantage of the $14,000 in Milestone bonuses.

2. Get my new monitors.
I've been playing on 2 19" CRTs for years now. I'm ready for the upgrade. I will be getting 3 20" LCDs and expanding the number of tables I am playing from 8 to 10-12. PM me if you are interested in the old ones.

3. Continue to work on my game.
I gotta be honest. You guys are the single most important thing that has helped me improve my game. This month I want to participate in more hand discussion and also continue with the book study we are doing. I also want to take more player notes.

4. Play more hands at 200NL.
I don't want to set a concrete goal, just more than I played there this past month.

to not donk of thousands of my profits. to ask myself "is this profitable" "do i have a read on him" "is this a mistake" before i make any clicks on the mouse. add 5 k to my roll at 200 nl, and to not move up in stakes no matter how much money i have till i have complete tilt control.

My goals are the same ones that I had February 1st b/c while I had those achieved by the 12th....since I am back to square one almost. Stupid cooler.

So....

Build my BR to play $100NL w/o problem and take shots at $200NL

Play 30k hands

Read/study the game more

Review more of my play

Not to breakeven and maybe make a profit during March. That shouldn't be tooooo much to ask?

1. Get back to playing good, winning poker (I'd been fighting through a demoralizing, doubt-inducing downswing since December)

2. Win money at 3 out of 4 home games

3. Double my emaciated bankroll at Stars, even if it's a slow, patient grind

4. Get back to being active at 2+2, which should help with #1

To develop stronger reads on my opponents and use them to my advantage.

So instead of thinking "Player X is weak/passive/loose etc" I want to be thinking along the lines of "where have I seen this betting pattern before?"
