There might also be some merit in folding here:

A) Button and MP don't have very many chips either and one or the other may end up going out before the BB comes back to you leaving you 4-handed with a good chance of lucking a 3rd.

B) Even when the BB comes back to you, you may get a walk from a very short MP or Button who doesn't want to force you all-in with some crappy hand of their own.

C) By doubling up you are making yourself a target to get your SB+BB stolen on the next round by one of the bigger stacks, whereas if you fold and end up with t785 you are pretty much making it clear you will call anything in the BB (or possibly SB) next round.

D) You also get three more hands in which to get a better hand to push with: If you do a "no fold-equity" push now you are gonna end up with t1970 chips if you win, but if you push your remaining t785 in one of the next three hands and end up with just the BB calling then there will be an extra t200 dead chips in the pot (there is a pretty good chance of this too, as I don't think MP or Button have enough to call in the SB just hoping to knock you out by checking down with a cooperative BB...). In this case you will get 2*785+200=t1770 for a win which isn't really that much less than the t1970 you're gonna get for pushing the rags in this hand.

E) Finally if you double up now to t1970 then you have to push past two big stacks into two pot committed shorties, so your increased fold equity isn't really that much help.

This is so true. You should never wittle yourself down to 1.5 bbs and have to make a decision like this.
