I agree with all of that. If Dexter ever outed himself to Masuka it would be because Masuka is the guy most likely to bust him, plus they have a great repoire. I had that thought in my mind since season one when Masuka was close to nailing Dexter with the animal tranquilizer discovery.

One of the people not mentioned that could possibly figure Dexter out is that librarian/file lady that gives Dexter all the unsolved cases. If she is able to link all cases she gave to dexter to all the bodies that are turning up.

I doubt she would do this as I think that would be giving her to much credit, but she probably has the most potential (or holds the key to the necesary information) to link dexter to these bodies.

I'm about 100% sure that she asks him "one day you are going to tell what you do with all of these," indicating that he goes there frequently to get new "projects."

Since Dokes has always been a super-ego character, it's a pretty cool direction for the show to take to have him be able to justify killing people too.

This season is starting to get very good.

That part bugged me as well.

Incredibly unlikely IMO. She doesn't seem freaked out at all yet, and since she's innocent Dexter won't kill her.

She can be intellectually interested with it, but unable to truly come to grips with it. Similarly although Dexter is just about his killing he is also very survival oriented and we don't know what he would be willing to do if push came to shove.

That's a very good point I haven't thought of. Maybe something like she confronts Dexter about it? Probably not likely to be written in but if this was happening in real life that seems like a likely way he'd be caught.

What might be cool is an official dexter season 2 predictions thread seperate from the regular episode thread. Everyone could speculate on what's going to happen in the next episode, the rest of the season, if he get's caught and if so by who, etc.

Hell, we could wager on what happens to, that might be fun but I'm not sure how that lines up with 2p2's SOP.

i felt the same way about doakes showing up to the dock to meet the friend of the special ops guy and being shocked that its actually the perp he's talking to. he volunteered to take the lead on the case but still doesnt know what the guy looks like?

i guess there are a bunch of little holes like that but its still my favorite show on tv. all the deb and pascal scenes are brutal though. i'd like to see more harry flashbacks.

The Rita relationship is becoming pretty annoying to me. I hope they tone it down a bit. Perhaps she could dump Dex for being too noncompliant for her liking, and he could hook up with the sponsor.

The whole Rita + kids and Deb and her traumas or whatever are the worst parts of the show. Less of them and more murders plz.
