I'd play basketball against Raymer, and chess against Latrell Sprewell, (sp?) but not vice versa.

I'm not surprised to read this thread at all. Phil is just another hold em monkey, lost in Omaha8. He is an awesome hold em player, but he simply cannot get out of that one game mindset to play anything else. Yeah, a world champion millionaire monkey, but a monkey nonetheless. I may get to Vegas for the lowest buyin WSOP O8 this year, and if I see certain pros at my table I will fear. If I see Hellmuth, I will cheer.

A lot of the better players are adept at most of the games. No doubt NLHE is Hellmuth's best game by far, but im sure that he has a solid number of cashes in other events, including LO8.

Let me guess...it was to play heads up no limit hold'em? He's a one trick pony. Albeit, a good one.

Obviously playing O8 tourny donkeys is VERY VERY different from playing a O8 HU specialist at 300-600
