just for the record if we are allowed jazz artists I would take miles davis no question. but I didn't think that was fair since he had so many bands over the course of his career.

I think I'd have to go with The Band. Assuming I get to bring all their work with The Hawks and Dylan as well. That way I get some of the finest albums of the best solo artist ever (not Ronnie Hawkins), as well as the catalog of one of the greatest bands ever. Oh, and tons and tons of bootlegs.

If not, hate to be cliched but would be Radiohead. Beatles might be the "correct" answer but I'm pretty sure I would actually go insane if I listened to them all day.

Also, why the [censored] are people naming 5+ bands? The entire point of the thread is to narrow it down to one!
