Hey cool to hear that there are a few musicians here! I play guitar, mainly jazz... or I played, a lot, had to quit my studies because of a wrist injury due to excessive practicing. I've recently picked up playing again after a ~10 month break and it's been great fun. I hope to be able to play at least for fun in the future.

[/ QUOTE ]
Yes it's funny to see that there are more musicians playing poker.. or poker players making music.

Myself I'm playing teh keys for about 20 years now (which is basically my whole life since I'm 25), been in a couple of bands back in the days.. I'm producer as well with 3 record deals to my name. Although I have to say, since poker I haven't been really productive music-wise. I like to jam all day long though, even during poker sessions.

Fletch, seriously, finish uni. Knowing u have something to full back on takes the stresses out of going pro...
That said, Id love to be young and footloose, so i can see where ur coming from

Ya i've gone through all this so many times since the summer, i just think that anything could happen with online poker and if i can robusto over the next few years i will have the capital to get straight into the property market (development) which is essentially what i want to do.

Wait, what?

R U serious?

Bunch of my friends want to move away from the West as well. Some mentioned New Zealand, others mentioned Taiwan.

Myself I'm hugely undecided. One thing is for sure: I [censored] hate taxes.

Yeah I've been planning on going to Thailand for a while now. Gotta move up to MSNL first though.

EDIT: Or at least be a proven winner at NL200 over a big sample.

I'm amazed at how many ppl have 50+BI bankrolls.

I plan on moving up literally as soon as i have 20BI for the next level, and taking shots as soon as i have 15BI (30 for my current level). If i get my ass handed to me i don't mind dropping a level. I also plan on doing this until i reach 2000NL.

Is this a good plan? I thought 20BI was standard. Also, i only play 3-4 tables and i don't expect that will change either.

Oh and:

23
London UK
3-4 tables
Party-200NL
23 BI roll
TAG
Moved up
Shown a profit
I don't depend on poker for my income.

Pretty much the same for me.

@montezuma: if poker is your only income/majority of your income u need to play with bigger roll and as u can see from the pool it is for majority of players.
