UTG raises, UTG+1 folds, CO calls, Hero calls, SB calls, BB calls.
PF discussions are gay. Easy call for me. [img]/images/graemlins/ooo.gif[/img] (I was on the button. And, if the bitch and the clown werent married I would fold.)

Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (10SB, 5 players)
SB bets, BB calls, UTG raises, CO folds, Hero 3-bets, 2 folds, UTG caps, Hero calls.

Easy 3bet. AQ, KQ, KK, AA all pay me off.

Turn: 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (10BB, 2 players)
UTG bets, Hero raises, UTG 3-bets, Hero caps, UTG calls.

Now its getting dirty. My first raise was ok IMHO, but the cap was too aggro. The reason why I was still so enthusiastic about my hand was that the only two reasonable hands which beat me were QQ, JJ. However, they are only 2 combos.

River: 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (18BB, 2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets, UTG raises, Hero calls.

Before the river, I planned to just call one bet. After his check, I thought there was still some value in betting. After his c/r I guess, I could lay it down [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img]

Calldown from the turn 3 bet, 77 is possible too.

Yes, you are right.
My problem in this hand was to be too much focused on: LOL, QQ, JJ, only two combos, every other two pair I beat.
But I didnt realize that Q7, J7 rarely raise from UTG PF.
KK, AA are still in the range, but after the turn-3bet, they have to be discounted, I guess.

yeah call the Turn 3bet, rest ist fine....sure there are only 3 combos wich beat you but these are a significant part of his range and AA KK must be discounted and AQ KQ arent even worth mentioning here after the action imho, maybe you can count them in for like 5% of his range or so.

I raise preflop for value and for sometimes seeing a free turn.

Turn 3-bet is spew against unknown, but that has been said already.

As played there is no value in the river bet for the same reason you shouldnt cap the turn.

there's at least a higher risk that rick is gay than a discussion about poker (because he's a human).

i just prefer flexible vocabularies and wouldn't mind if there was less latent heterosexism. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
