When isn't right to get all-in with KK

I was recently in a live game. 1/2 NL in A.C. Twice I was delt KK and twice I faced raise wars preflop that lead me going all in. In both these situations I ended up facing AA.

Should KK be played any slower against heavy aggression for fear of AA?

there will be opponents and stack sizes where folding KK pf would be a good move, but usually go all the way.

Basically, if you have to ask the question, then you should never fold KK.

You'll have to have a very good understanding of why & when you should lay down KK, and you'll also need some seriously good reads to do this.

You risk losing a huge amount of money each time you lay down KK. For most people, their huge KK laydowns will be incorrect enough that the end result will be -EV.

It depends on how deep you are. For 100bb I'm almost never thinking about folding KK pre-flop.

With 300bb and more, I don't think anyone sane is going to put their whole stack in with AK or QQ.

Very true, but first you need a read on whether villain is sane or not (in a poker sense).
