Default bet/folding turn with outs

villain is 35/15/1.6 after 1500 hands winning 2 bb/100

Full Tilt 5/10 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero raises, 1 fold, SB calls, 1 fold.

Flop: (5 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB folds.

Final Pot: 3.50 BB

Three points to consider

1. villain is marginally passive or only moderately aggro
2. villain has at least 6 and possibly 10 outs
3. I would have to fold to a raise

I think betting is fine here. Your bet gives him 3.5:1, which is more along the lines of 13 outs if he is drawing.

He could easily have hands like a10, q9, 10-8, etc. Also, depending on how often he goes to showdown, you might get him to fold 88 or 99?

Just my thoughts
