i think u gotta shove this PF [/ QUOTE ] At Microstakes, don't give too many people credit for big hands. Don't always assume people have aces. There are all sorts of donks out there who overplay AQ, AK, QQ etc. etc. Shoving here will be a good play a lot of times at these stakes. |

Re: I feel like a moron for laying this down - NL10
Yes, go all-in preflop. KK has such a huge equity advantage preflop, it is good to get as much money possible in as early as possible. You also want to cut down on the number of opponents, because the value of KK goes down in a multiway pot.
Don't be scared of AA when you have KK. Occassionally your opponent will show aces when you have kings, but the odds are against it. |

Well turns out they were holding 63os and AQos. Reason that I folded it was because I HAVE seen a lot of AA vs KK scenarios. But yes, I can't always assume that esp at the lower stakes.

[/ QUOTE ] Those are the easiest to remember, but you've probably also seen a lot of KK vs. AK, KK vs. QQ, and KK vs. JJ scenarios too, no? |

Of course, but he played his cards so aggresively and without any stats on the opponent I didn't know if I shoulda called.

Shove preflop. It's only 100bb and it's likely he'll call you up with JJ+, AK maybe even AQs.
As played shove the flop. |

You have to re-raise PF, especially since you're up against more than 1 player. The only size raise that makes sense is a push.
