Re: Suggestions for current / potential OOT mods
[ QUOTE ]
Tony. I think you gave very bad examples with #3. Those may not be your favorite polls, but I don't really see anything wrong with them. I think threads should not be locked for content, unless they are extremely offensive / inappropriate. [/ QUOTE ] exactly, where else would we describe what we had for lunch? |

Anacardo - Hm. Sort of. Think about it - the sure-to-be brief mod tenure of KKF has the potential to be one of the most hilarious reigns of terror in Internet history. Also, lots of hot AZN girl threads I'd bet!

Re: Suggestions for current / potential OOT mods
Concerning #2, why would you lock an ask me thread, that is still generating discussion? Remember OOT is not our blog (for the most part), those ask me threads were a good idea and stimulated OOT a great deal the last two weeks, but if they go off course and people are still having fun...why the F not.
Also, lets keep in mind, OOT has been pretty good lately, general upkeep is necesary right now. Astro did a ton for this place, but lets not go predicting doomsday just yet. I disagree with some of Diebitters ideas on "forum improvement", but he does a good job and rumor has it that Commodus is going to have to return from his vacation on the nile and start doing some work. Everything's going to be cool kids. Don't ya'll worry. |

[ QUOTE ] 1. Ban/warn users who create threads with subjects that are not descriptive of the thread. [/ QUOTE ] I thought this thread was to nominate OOT mods. I guess the subject wasn't descriptive enough [/ QUOTE ] #2. Why is this important? It seems to accomplish no purpose. If an interesting theme for a discussion was brought up by someone, let others take it and run with it. Besides, how long is enough time to say a guy isn't answering his "Ask Me" thread? What if new questions come up in the future he's willing to answer? What if he just wants to take a weekend off? 3. What exactly is a dumb poll and who decides? |

Re: Suggestions for current / potential OOT mods
why lock those polls? because YOU, personally, don't like them?
if a poll is dumb and OOTiots don't like it, it'll fall down the list...if they like it, they'll reply and keep it high up |
