My usual buy-in for $2/4 is $100, but $80's fine. If you're adequately bankrolled for a game where you usually buy in for $400, you don't need to worry about a separate bankroll for a small stud game, do you? If you want to set aside $500 as what you're willing to lose while learning the game, that might be sensible.
