10NL: Opening light, trips facing turn push.
Villain is new to me, at this point we had been together about 20 hands and he was running 30/5/2 and hadn't done anything noteworthy.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) UTG (Villain) ($10.75) MP ($9.85) Esmerelda ($11.70) Button ($21.20) SB ($13.75) BB ($5.70) Preflop: Esmerelda is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG(Villain)/ calls $0.10, 1 fold, Esmerelda raises to $0.5, 3 folds, UTG (Villain)/ calls $0.40. I know, fold this. I have been experimenting with raising ATC from Button(usually) and CO (often) with a limper. Flop: ($1.15) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Villain checks, Esmerelda checks. Pretty dry and I hate my hand. I figure I can extract some value later. Turn: ($1.15) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Villain bets $0.7, Esmerelda raises to $2.5, Villain raises to $9.5, Esmerelda ??? I raise, at the time I thought that he had a king or fd and might call. Looking at it now I think a call is the better play. As played, my thinking is that I can only beat a naked bluff here and even getting 2:1 this is a fold. |
